Nantz busy fellating the Pats the first 3 downs, but the huge one on one first down stop on Michel by the defensive end, set the tone for the next two plays.
Held the Pats to the FG and momentum turned right there as Henry went 75 yards the next drive.

I think Brady coming back is contingent on either Gronk coming back or the Pats getting a real #1 receiver. But they looked anemic on offense a good chunk of the season.

Watching the post game stuff, I kind of feel bad for Brady, would I be wrong to call him the Gretzky of the NFL? Held himself with pure class. His career isn’t over

I’ve hated that dynasty my entire life. But you cannot take away their records and accomplishments. Belichick and Brady are both the respective greatest of all time in their fields without question IMO.

Further to my point, watch from 3:45 on about 4:10 on below video.
Rashaan Evans a beast, #54.
First he helps keep Burkhead out, after getting up after a block.
Then, flies through the gap on 1st and 1 to dive full stretch and take down Michel.
This was the biggest play because it was a great desperate dive, and he’s the only one that is stopping Michel from walking in...on second and third down he held more help.
Highlights don’t show second down because Nantz barley acknowledged that amazing defensive play after first down, as he was droning on (through the second down play as well) about Brady’s records at Foxboro. An odd time to start cracking those out but that’s CBS. Anyways, Evans and another guy make the tackle on Burkhead on that play.
Third down he again fires through the gap, and although it was a bit more congested, but makes the tackle.
So that’s 4 plays where he lone, or with someone else, make crucial tackles.
Pats kick fg, Henry then runs singlehandledly for the game winning td the next series.
But Evans made 4 monster plays in a row.

I 100% expect Brady to be back under centre in NE next year. Ugh already got the nerves going, as a Saints fan the playoffs are especially a cruel mistress haha, how will they absolutely rip my heart out this time? I fly there early tomorrow morning, hopefully I'm not arriving to freshly sad New Orleans..

Not sure why the Bills are always so conservative on offence. Gore had one good run out of how many? Stop going to him in the red zone!
Still a good season overall and looking forward to watching this team next season.
Very frustrating to watch as a member of Bills Mafia as it was happening, but really when yous it back and take in the whole season they are trending in the right direction and one of the more enjoyable seasons to watch in years.
I really didn't think it mattered win or lose in the big picture as I don't see anyone beating Baltimore in the AFC.
The talk is if McDaniels was to get hired by the Panthers that Brady may follow him there so he doesn't have to learn a new offense and they have the best checkdown RB in the game which would suit Brady well. I really don't see why he would go to a rebuilding team like the Raiders that was starting Keelan Doss and Zay Jones at WR. Also at this point I'm not sure Brady is an upgrade on Carr as Carr had higher completion %, YPA, Rating, QBR (ESPN advanced rating) this season despite having less talent than Brady to work with at WR. Brady is really at that point in his career where he needs to be insulated by a lot of surrounding talent.

Also, I think the Edelman drop finished the Pats. If he caught that ball, NE likely would have moved into position for a winning FG.

That was such a killer. From such a money player too.
For all the complaining on here, I thought yesterday was one hell of a good day for an NFL football fan. Some very compelling games. Yeah the winners may not get to the Super Bowl but this is the playoffs. Every win is absolutely huge.
And as a Texans fan, got to witness a play that will live on in replays for a long time.
Nice how FOX started the feed showing clips of their last two playoff matchups, one being you know what from 2017, the other was purely just hits on Favre. Yeah, because that's why they lost.. not because they had 1st & 10 at the Saints 33 in a tie game with a minute to go, then took a 12 men on the field penalty, then Favre threw a cross body interception. #### off
