Maybe Johnny just likes to bounce pucks of goalies heads. That might explain the constant no angle shots.

Johnny has that high short side shot perfected.

He is so elite at passing and playmaking, and now he’s dialing in a specific play to keep goalies honest when he has the puck. Ridiculous.

I don't think there's such thing as a bad shot on net and if there's no pass to be made I have no issues with him trying a bad angle shot as goaltenders have to be on their toes when he's at the side of the net and can't cheat.

Seems once he got the speed of the NHL down, adjusted, got the pace, he's been much better. Even before he started scoring a little you could see he was finding his game. Treliving has trade out a lot of draft picks but the ones he's had are counting.

Andersson, Kylington, Mangiapane all from the 2015. Three of the five picks we ended up having.
