You're wasting your time, oldschoolcalgary. Oiler fans have basically gone full Republican Party insane. Facts are irrelevant to them. Only their feels matter.
Plus, if I wanted to read HF, I’d go to that site. It’s the same as if I wanted to read some guy’s political tweets, I’d follow him on Twitter. I choose to do neither, but people will continue to post them here for all the people who choose not to read them the first time.

Take your punishment like a man McDavid, like the captain you are supposed to be. Just heard a clip where he claims he was bracing himself to get hit. Claiming if he didn’t do it he wouldn’t been the one hurt. Watch your own replay dummy- clearly leaned in to him- that was not ‘bracing’ yourself.
I just cant get over how "low energy" he is in every, single, interview. I dont see any burning passion to fight with the league if he truly thinks he's hard done by over a suspension. He never shows any emotion after they get wall papered 9-1 or lose a tight one, or fluke out a win. You'll see McSicky get a little bent if hes being given a rough time on the ice but it rarely goes anywhere.
There's a reason he's never really won anything other than individual awards. I'd be hard pressed to follow him into a bar let alone a hockey game.

Yeah, wow. That whole interview reeks of oiler-entitlement.
And McDangles even jokes about how he doesn't backcheck. "Ha ha ha! I dont give full effort anyhow, so how hard can I realistically hit anybody?!?"
(Didn't see an apology in there either, but I could be wrong on that...I have a rule that I try to read Spector articles as quickly as possible so as to avoid the worms crawling into my brain...)
You know, I have kept somewhat of a soft spot for McDavid because of his incredibly sad reaction to being drafted by the Oilers, as he was dealt a terrible hand that he probably didn't deserve. This circus that is going on right now however tells me that McDavid has now gone full Oiler, and he has become a rather terrible person, chock full of entitlement issues and incredibly poor work ethic, just like the long line of players before him. I am now at peace with the fact that I wish Connor McDavid only failure and disappointment throughout his entire career, and that he remains in the worst organization in pro sports, because they truly deserve each other in the worst possible way.

The organization is a joke up there in Edmonton. Comment about Nick Leddy stumbled with the puck and the next sentence did not have the word puck. Replay shows that the pass was handled by his foot kicking it forward to his stick which was a great play by Leddy and wasn't a stumble at all. McHeadShot lifted his leg up to try to avoid the hit was another garbage statement. Left foot was raised to ensure no knee-to-knee contact as McHeadShot leaned in to make contact in the chest with his elbow and contact to the head with his shoulder. The contact didn't start with shoulder to the chest that concluded with the head as claimed by the Oilers.
All 82 games are crucial in the final standings if you are chasing 1st overall or a playoff spot. Not just game 61 and 62 without your top player.
Wow, there’s a player with ZERO remorse for a blatant hit to the head.
You know, I actually felt sorry for him when he was drafted but after he chose to max re-up with the Oilers, and watching him in the BOA this year and constantly having him crammed down our throats by the national media and finally this presser I’ve no doubt this kid is nothing but a selfish, entitled, spoiled pr!ck and I will relish in his every bit of misery as long as he is in the league.
