First period was a draw. Flames have been the better team in the 2nd though, but haven't been able to capitalize on countless opportunities.

Well the positive news is that they're tied going into the 3rd period where they're the league's best. Hope the magic continues.
Sabres aren't laying down and playing dead, the Flames need to work for these 2 points.

I just don't get the officiating.
Chucky highsticked around the puck, Hathaway got elbowed in the face with the puck at his feet, but Johnny gets called for a penalty when it didn't look like he did anything.
Oh and Hathaway drilled from behind before the puck got to him. It looked painfully obvious.
