This game is making me feel more comfortable about the goaltending this year.

Its not a crazy scenario. Sign Glass, Back up Parsons in stockton, have a trade chip to do something with.

Foo spends his whole time receiving drop passes then shooting.

You can tell Kylingtons really reeled in his game. He doesn't push the offensive zone at all. He just skates out of the zone and passes. Not a lot of push. I wonder if he is playing it safe this camp.

EDIT: from his Pre draft highlights and his first year over here, his issue was just being able to skate around anyone and wander into the wilderness creating offense. Now he's just a back half D man.

I just really like how smart he is under pressure. Doesn't panic and just get rid of the puck, turns away from the pressure and makes a play. Just looks like a mature defenseman, which is what you want from a player of his type.

Goaltending is still our weakest position. Until one of Gillies, MacDonald, Rittich or Parsons proves a real nhler we shouldn't be trading them in my opinion.

Funny how the Canucks went the entire broadcast mispronouncing Rittich's name.

5 seconds of research to see how the Flames crew said it last year would have been smart.

Depends. You have one back up in Ritter or Gillies, and Parsons gets all he can eat starts on the Farm like he should. I feel like thats what he is trying to earn right now. And you sign Glass as the journeyman.

Again. its not crazy. and McDonald is washed out IMO. Schenider could use those starts in the ECHL.

Just for fun I’d like to see an intersquad game against the China Flames.

So you are saying in one injury plagued season that out does the fact that he has been stellar the rest of his whole hockey career? Parsons is going to be a star.

Also, his first name should be pronounced the Czech way: DAH-vid. (Stockton's radio announcer would pronounce it that way).

It doesnt really make sense to write say Gillies off at this point after you gave him the net in the AHL. Or Rittich, who played 20 NHL games last year. We have 3 prospects right now who are really close to making the final step. Smith contract expires after this season and if we are lucky, one of them will emerge as the real deal by that time. Signing Glass or someone like Mason is not going to help with that.
