McDonald was the #2 ranked goalie in the draft...its not like they went way off the board
Kidd was widely accepted as the better goalie than Brodeur
Can't just draft by rankings

i do like the way Healey and Ollas-Mattsson always finish their checks. I don't know if either will ever make it but I appreciate watching them make the hit each and every time

Dube looks amazing. I see him making the team really quick.
McMason looks like he's scared of the puck, feels bad man.

I'm really impressed by Ruzicka's hands and offensive instincts; he looks calm and mature when handling the puck. He's also really big. If that guy can improve his skating, I think there is some serious upside there.

He reminds me of Joe Colborne, with all that entails.

Just seems to have problems tracking it. Also seems slow laterally, his athleticism was suppose to be an asset. Just doesn't seem to have confidence, which is a show stopper for a goalie.

I noticed the same thing when I lived in Lethbridge. Long before McDavid bandwagon era too. Geographically makes even less sense there.
What the heck is wrong with Alberta? Any towns around the province that are notably pro-Flames?

Oilers had a dynasty in the 80s before Flames even won their cup. Not surprising.
