NHL’s Colin Campbell spoke with Boston’s Brad Marchand and GM Don Sweeney today. The League put the player on notice that his actions last night are unacceptable and similar behavior in the future will be dealt with by way of supplemental discipline.

I think I would honestly stop cheering for the Flames if they had Brad Marchand on the team. That's how much I dislike him.

Next game Marchand should stick his tongue in a player's ear.
“You said NO LICKING. This isn't licking. After the game you can give me another warning if you like."
It really is a smart move by Marchand. For whatever reason the refs are afraid to give him an unsportsmanlike penalty so he has nothing to lose and can try and goad the opposition into a roughing call as a retaliation call.

Holy crap...i cant watch this stuff. Officiating is just...i dont know. I am not one to whine about officials cause its an extremely difficullt job, but this is just amateur hour.

Hahaha. Tkachuk and Marchand aren't the same player no matter how desperately you or anyone wants to prove they are. Tkachuk's not gross and licks or bites people. Doesn't ducks hits. Does Tkachuk stir the pot, hell yes, but he knows the limits better than Marchand.
Marchand is in the same trash class as Cooke, Avery, Burrows.
EDIT: And Marchand hurts his team far more than he actually hurts the opposition with his antics. If he wasn't a total moron he'd be one of the great players of this generation. But instead he's a moron.
