He also is an Oiler killer so far in his career, with 3G + 5A in 11 games vs Edmonton, the most against any team.
Remember how Smith was 15-3 in his career vs the Oilers coming in?

Let's hope that success actually translates in Shore's case. I do feel the acquisitions will give them a little boost in regards to the BoA.

I think with out a doubt Shore will be an upgrade over Lazar. Lazar's still young and incredibly raw. So I could see Shore being inserted into the lineup with Stajan to give the team more experience and stronger face off presence.

Looking at some of Shore's highlights, looks like he can score from a ways out which is not something our 4th liners do on a regular basis. They have to grind out goals and score in tight. Ultimately, I think the Shore acquisition has a chance to make a significant difference.

The Stajan goal never gets old. As classic as some of the old '04 ones.
I will forever remember that goal. Living in Vancouver at that time and was one of the few Flames jerseys at the bar. Was getting heckled when it was 3-0 Van, that goal made me jump for joy and run around the bar haha

Just in the Nick of time, with Stajan on the way out.

FYI, it appears Shore will wear #25.

Lazar has 1 more game of NHL experience than shore.

One of the biggest fails by the Flames. No one cares about "Forever a Flame", retiring a players number is a real honor.
