What an insane game. Fun to watch, but unexpected HRs in extras.

Dodgers nearly won with more runs than hits.

This. Baseball has a way of producing moments.

Astros really gutted that out. First ever win for the Astros in the World Series.

I saw on twitter that 22.7% of all extra inning WS game HRs were hit tonight.

That's a crazy stat.

What a great game. I thought it was going to be another heartbreak for the Astros but they managed to come through.

8 home runs in a game is a World Series record. The Dodgers had 5 hits and 4 of them were home runs.

The Dodgers using 9 pitchers must be a record too. That's insane managing.

Smoltz was somewhat critical of that approach during the broadcast. His point was too many things have to go right in order to win.

Girardi is out as Yankees manager. Gotta think they'll basically have their choice of replacements, it's a hell of a job considering the young talent and unlimited financial resources.

This game is coming down to the Astros bullpen. I’m nervous but you have to be able to hold leads to win a World Series.

Yuli Gurriel does slant-eye gesture after hitting homer off Yu Darvish, calls him slur -

Hinch pushing the right buttons. Peacock allows no hits in 3 and 2/3 innings of beautiful relief. Headed to game 4 tomorrow!
