Well, the players we expected to dominate have been doing just that. These rosters are usually thrown together, so I tend not to put much stock in the quality of overall team performance.

Yamamoto looks good for the grease, surprisingly butcher does too. That last goal Mangiapane was offside that pass back made him so, but I'll take the goal. Smith still looks disinterested

Want to see more offence from Janko in the third. Would like him to get that confidence up with the puck heading into main camp. Really want to see that 5 year project pay off, after all the shade that's been thrown at him and the Flames for picking him over the years.

The Flames are seriously on the verge of displacing Nashville for that 'stacked defence' NHL team. If a couple of these promising prospects makes the big team in the next year or two which it looks like, that depth is going to be something else. (Even if Gio takes a step back!)
