Ashley going home takes csnarpy and Puxlut out of Pool A, and ratech out of Pool B
That was quite the episode! Kinda had a feeling Ashley's time was getting more and more limited with what they were showing of her. I am a little surprised that Mike didn't get sent home tonight, though.
Ben seems to be an idol-finding machine! I'm almost kind of rooting for him now, as he seems to always end up on top one way or another.
That was an interesting puzzle for Immunity, I felt.
Choosing Chrissy/Ryan over Ashley was a bad move for Devon. In a final four, Ashley is more likely to vote 2-2 to keep Devon, more than anyone else.
I hope one of Devon or Ben win but I have a bad feeling Devon and Ben will be the next two boots, I'm not sure about order, but just that whoever goes first in the finale would go next. Devon might suffer the same fate as Malcolm. On the other hand, it is pretty cool that I picked two players who are in the finale.
And then the jury is left to pick between an Chrissy who has played a strong strategic game but has rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, or Dr. Mike who is likable and has shown growth, but hasn't played strategic game worthy of winning. Ryan has no chance IMO. In that final 3 scenario, I would probably vote for Dr. Mike to win. Chrissy would have to own up to everything and be humble and apologetic, but I don't think she has the self-awareness or self-control to do that.
A Dr. Mike win would be one of the most random and surprising things to ever happen.
I was surprised with Ben's tactic of playing the idol pre-vote, but i thought it was a good move in front of the jury to cause the group to debate their move without the benefit of time or prep. Only thing I wonder was pointing his vote at Dr. Mike so early.
My thoughts are that:
Ben wins if he gets to the end, unlikely to get to the end
Krissy wins if Ben is not there.
Devon wins if Krissy and Ben are both gone, or if Krissy completely stumbles at Tribal
Dr. Mike wins if there is bitter jury syndrom
Ryan wins if the jury lacks capacity when voting.
I can't stand players who last who are so physically overmatched the entire time. They create the narrative that their social game is stronger than others merely because they are so pathetic at surviving the elements and in challenges. Not a fan of this type of player.

I agree that it's Chrissy and Ben's game to lose but I do think Devon could make a case for himself. He's good at playing the dummy but he knows how to swing with the tides and the move to get Ashley out was a good one. Other than Ben he should be able to beat the others at most physical challenges.
Also, Chrissy is 46....she looks fantastic.

I just read the entertainment weekly questions posed to Probst before the finale. Probst claims it's one of the best finales ever, so i have high hopes.

I don't think Ben is a lock to win if he gets to final 3. He has been getting mighty cocky over the last couple episodes and he actually seems to be rubbing people the wrong way I think.
Also man does he love talking about being a vet and his experience as a vet, etc.
I'm hoping we get at least 2 strong players in the final like Chrissy and Ben. Both have been amazing players, and both would deserve to win. The Jury would have a tough time deciding the vote, and maybe for once it's not a landslide in the finale.
Maybe that's what Probst was eluding to (I hope). I hate having finales with a strong player that brings 2 weaklings in with them to crush.
-Ben's going off to look for idols. Well, they must have learned their lesson, they'll have someone...no...no, apparently not.
-Of course he finds another one...
-Interesting challenge, especially the puzzle
~I admit...I would not have expected Chrissy to be the beast at Individual Immunity that she is
~I like the idea of Chrissy and Ben in the Final Three. I feel they've been playing the best so far. At this point, likely the best bet is to get rid of Devon at this vote. Ryan would be the next one picked off, leaving a Final Three of Ben, Chrissy and Mike.
~Pretty clever ploy...and if Ben didn't have one, it MIGHT have worked. But that idol looks so different from the other ones...I wonder.

I also think that this is the first time since I've been running these that not only does someone have all their picks still going into the final episode, but that multiple people do.
I think Ben deserved the win and I was rooting for him. Chrissy would’ve made for a good winner too, but she annoyed me so I was happy she didn’t win over Ben.

Wow, way better finale than I was expecting. Huge twist at the end.....I thought the upside down U was the end for my boy Ben, but he pulls off the miracle.
I thought he was a bit of a jerk for a while, but he started winning me over the past few shows. Chrissy would have been a deserving winner as well. I thought Ryan had zero hope but he made some good arguments at final tribal.
I fluked out and picked the winner as well as the 3rd place finisher. Yay me! I think only the second time I've picked the winner on CP. This time 2 of the top 3 so I will brag a bit here
And I'll end with my pet peeve.......the reunion show didn't have enough questions to the rest of the players. I like when Jeff asks questions to everyone. Tonight it was very quiet.

The extra person (Devon in this case) gets to vote. There wouldn't be a tie since there's an odd number of votes. I'm surprised that hasn't happened yet.
