I'd bet if only Hamilton is back, Wideman is in and Rasmus sits. But they don't know and if they need two D at least for a game, Rasmus makes as much sense as anyone, with two RH guys out.
What it tells me, though is that GG won't go with Gio/Brodie in any event.

Why would you bet only Hamilton is out? From everything that has been said last night Stone has the longer term injury. If one of them is playing tomorrow it will be Hamilton

The interesting thing here is the expectation of one of them playing, but still recalling another defenseman from the minors. Just saw it was an emergency call up. Sucks. Means Wideman is a go.

The wording makes me relax a little, I was worried it was a broken collarbone for Stone but it sounds like it isn't. If Stone is out for 1-2 weeks and Hamilton is back playing within 1-2 games the Flames dodged a massive bullet. If one injury was actually very severe I don't think the Flames would use that type of wording. They were pretty up front with Johnny's injury if I remember correctly so I think this bodes well for us.

So, was there never actually a disclosure by the team concerning Stone's status? The last I heard was that he did not make the trip to Winnipeg. Is there a timeline for his return?
