I agree it sends a strong supportive message to the team, I just don't agree that it's the right thing to do.
There's still a lot of views out there on LA's position in the league as a "contender" which are outdated (in my opinion) and rooted from memories of how they used to dominate. This is a team that has looked slower than most other teams for 3/4 of a season now that is unable to generate offence at a consistent basis. They're still one of the bigger and more physical teams in the league but they're now also one of the below average teams in the league.
This is a team that needs to move forward and adapt but as seen today and last week, has decided not to.
