Yeah, maybe they should have pointed out the missed calls. That's why it's so easy for the officials to screw around. Sure, every call they made against the Flames is fine to the letter of the rules, but their way of officiating is so random and inconsistent they can get away with not calling obvious penalties or calling even the most minor of bumps. Do they even bother to review missed calls? Why do they only give one coaches challenge per game? If they are wrong in a call, then what's wrong with being able to review them all?

They should have made the refs watch every game and ask why the opposition didn't get the same penalties as the Flames doing the same thing. That is what bugs me more than the penalties on the Flames. It is the lack of calls on the opposition. But the NHL will continue to do whatever they want and deny anything.

I have asked myself this so many seasons. I am not even from Calgary. Then again, in my neck of the woods the local team would be Toronto and that would be way worse.
