it seems like in this season laying low is the way to go. I mean look at Jay, he was prime target #1 or so everybody thought, and then he kind of seemed to just slide into the background. Didn't really talk much to people or didn't seem to. Was still present, but there and quiet. Didn't start running around making alliances. Wins immunity one time, but never was at risk anyway.
Look at Ken, again, has played quiet the whole way.
If Hannah had stayed quiet, would have been fine, but put herself in the limelight for no reason, and made herself a threat to Zeke.
How about Adam. Again, was a target, but slid into obscurity over the last two episodes, nobody targets him...
Zeke was never really a target until he started to try and control the game...
I believe he mentioned it in one of the first episodes as we were getting to know the players. I believe he said it is really hard being a gay man on the police force or something along those lines.
It must have been really quick though because I had mentioned to a couple of people how hard it was to tell he was gay and they had no idea as well.

Man what a season, this has to be one of the best non-returning player seasons ever.. or just one of the best ever period. One thing I didn't get though was the personal attacks against David at tribal? Bret was one of his biggest supporters on the beach when he was choking up then he just turned on him. We must have missed something back at camp where David was wearing on/annoying the tribe. I didn't really appreciate those comments about crying over anxiety. Especially coming from two gay guys who most likely had to deal with their fair share of bullying/judging through out their lives. Pot meet kettle.
Jays domination in the challenge was just amazing, he must have felt so good. I love how Probst was just disgusted with everyone as well, "That is what we call a Survivor blow out." in the most disappointed voice ever lol. I noticed how Jay closed his gate after he got out, I wonder if they coached/told people to do that or if it was just his own clever thinking to keep the pattern hidden from the others. Either way I like that he is still in it, so many different factions/threats. This group came to play.

Yah, twitter had the pitchforks out for Bret and Zeke shortly after they were very supportive of them.

Not much to say that hasn't been said already. Jay really impressed me with that Immunity challenge. It seemed like he was the only one who was using both hands. One to explore the paths, one to actually move the widget. I noticed that after he got about halfway through the maze, that's when Jeff said "You all know you can use both hands, right?"...and everyone kept using one hand. Jay deserved that win.
I can't believe David fell for the Ken play, that was completely idiotic.
It's so easy to say that sitting at home watching how things were playing out behind David's back. You really gotta put yourself in shoes, he made a last second judgement call and I can totally see why he would go that way.
That was a pretty epic episode. Can't stand Sunday for some reason, but pretty brilliant of her to throw kens name out there. Adam and Hannah are just terrible players. Can't stand them either. Interested to see where it goes now. I still think David is in trouble even though the preview tries to lead us away from that.
Jessica a babe or is it just me? Felt bad for her.

One of the reasons behind picking Ken had to be how close David feels to Ken vs. Hannah.
based on what we've seen Hannah doesn't seem to be endearing herself to anyone in particular in the social game. I think she's probably seen as completely non-threatening.
Agree with what you said about Ken. He might be labelled as flying under the radar when in reality he's just not a ######head who looks to pick fights. (Too bad he isn't better at puzzles)
I've always wanted a season that was more about surviving the elements rather then players causing drama to get some screen time.
I wasn't really expecting that end, though even without the idol being played, it was going to end up that way.
With Zeke going home, mile and trackercowe join me on the bench.
Kinda seemed to me like Will was whiny all episode, then he got really whiny at the end. I was sort of hoping that everyone had enough of his "Wahwahbigplayiwantcredit" thing and voted him out at Tribal.
For the reward challenge...did anyone else wonder why everyone who got to the log went under it belly-to-the-ground? It makes more sense to me, and I think if faced with that kind of a challenge, I'd have gone through with back-to-the-ground so that I'd fit around the log better. Humans just don't bend the way most folks went under that thing.
That advantage that Adam had really does seem like a useless double edged sword. It doesn't seem like an advantage that could possibly be used without pretty much stating "Hey! Vote me off next Tribal!". Unless you are so secure in your alliance, I suppose, and you are stealing it from the 'other side'. But even that's risky stuff.
That also seemed like a super-boneheaded move by Ken. If he'd kept his trap shut and not 'tested' Will, it likely would have been a slam-dunk blindside of Zeke. I think he nearly kiboshed the entire thing.
I do think that they are right, though. It felt like if Zeke made it to the end, he had it locked up. I'm getting that feeling about Jay now, too.
Good episode....bad result.I've have much rather seen Hannah go home. I like how Zeke played. I'm hoping he comes back some season in the future.
