NBC LA is still showing filler. No live events, no track and field.
No mention of the race yet.
As bad as it is,the real irony is that the Olympics schedule everything around NBC and the US and then NBC tape delays everything anyways.

Equestrian kind of bugs me as an Olympic sport. At the very least the horse that wins should get to step on the podium and receive the medal it won since its the real athlete in that sport.

The NBC stations in the Mountain, Pacific, Alaskan, and Hawaiian timezones get tape delayed coverage. The Mtn zone is delayed by 1 hour, Pac is 3 hours, and 5 hours for AK and HI. Central and Eastern are the only ones to get the live coverage. It makes no sense for NBC doing this with Rio being on Atlantic time.

So Tirico on NBC just reported that final decision on US appeal of disqualification in 4 x 100 won't be coming until later today, despite multiple reports it had already been rejected.
