I thought I was going to really miss the old HNIC theme song from Saturday nights when they first lost it to TSN. Then when TSN lost out on the bids, I thought I'd miss hearing it. Now two years have passed and I realize I don't really give a ####. I actually had to think hard to even remember how it went when I was reading this thread, and I actually think I like the new song better, but what I've actually realized is the song doesn't matter or influence my enjoyment in the slightest.

I actually like both Maclean and Strombo, but only in small doses.
As for the Bettman feud, I find it difficult to believe that Bettman would engage in some sort of personal war with Ron Maclean over a couple of interviews.
To what end? To sewer Maclean's career? Could you imagine what would happen if there were ever any evidence to that effect? Bettman is a lawyer.
It just seems like whatever petty benefits exist are vastly outweighed by the risk and effort. I just dont see it.

The song is very dated. I prefer the new HNIC theme over it; it had it's time.
