It's the funniest bizarre-o story in sports history. It also pretty much crushes any trade value he has because I'm not sure anyone wants to bring in a guy who can lose his sanity at a jersey that is bland and inoffensive.

If the uniforms really didn't fit right and that made it hard to pitch in then maybe he gets a little leeway on this. Maybe not. Either way, I bet just about every team in baseball would still give a ton in a trade for Sale. He is elite.

His insanity level is also elite. You risk making your clubhouse a mess by acquiring him, so I doubt the White Sox get anything but lowball offers between now and the deadline.

The Cubs and Yankees are working on a trade that would send the flamethrower to Chicago for a package that includes Gleyber Torres, MLB.com’s 24th best prospect in baseball, according to FanRag Sports. Torres, a 19-year-old shortstop, was scratched from his High-A Myrtle Beach game Sunday.

After more than a month of searching for a starting pitcher to fill out the back of their rotation, the Marlins have succeeded in landing a pair of starters, reportedly agreeing to a trade that will net them right-handers Andrew Cashner and Colin Rea from the Padres in exchange for top first base prospect Josh Naylor, among others. The entirety of the deal isn’t yet clear, though Clark Spencer of the Miami Herald tweets that in addition to Naylor, at least one player from the Marlins’ big league roster is on his way to the Padres.

The Indians have dramatically fortified their bullpen as they look to further pad their lead on the American League Central, announcing on Sunday morning the acquisition of left-hander Andrew Miller from the Yankees in exchange for outfield prospect Clint Frazier, minor league left-hander Justus Sheffield and minor league right-handers Ben Heller and J.P. Feyereisen.

The Brewers and Indians have reached an agreement on a trade that will send Jonathan Lucroy to Cleveland if Lucroy will waive his no-trade clause to approve the deal, reports Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports (on Twitter). Rosenthal adds that Milwaukee will receive three players if the trade ultimately goes through. However, Lucroy has stated on multiple occasions this year that his strong preference is to play for a contending club, and the Indians certainly fit that bill at the moment, as they hold a 4.5 game lead over the American League Central division.
