That's the kind of call that will keep a ref out of the playoffs.

If that was the other way it would have been a goal.

This league is so backwards at times. They want more goals, yet soft as s*** calls like that get upheld. That shot was going in anyway, Quick was tracking to his right and the puck went to the opposite post. The contact from Colborne makes no difference in that play. Jesus the refs have been brutal this season.

If that's not a goal, might as well go to that IIHF (junior?) rule where the play is whistled dead if a guy skates through the crease.

I don't care about this game, at all.. but if this was a meaningful game with playoff implications and that goal didn't count I'd be so pissed. The NHL is such a joke.

This league is becoming such a ####ing joke. Even taking my homer glasses off this is laughable. Thankfully this game means nothing for us, but this same terrible terrible call could be made if it did.

a big problem with this process is that the ref who made the initial call is also performing the review; to over turn, he would essentially admit a mistake
these reviews should go to Toronto,

I'm only upset because I picked Backlund in the Flames 1st Goal Twitter contest.

Its an inherently biased process.

For sure. Get rid of the interference challenges, and make all challenged go to Toronto

Yep, he did the same thing on Shinkaruk and Gio's goals last night.

That no-goal call brought to you by the Tomas Holmstrom foundation for Goalie Rights to The Crease.

I know it was disallowed, but Colborne is one of the few players that actually gets in front of the net.
