Hot. Damn. That defence carried this team kicking and screaming to a Superbowl title. The last two games may be two of the best ever defensive postseason performances I've seen. Absolutely stunning how good they were. Congratulations Von on earning all of the money you'll get with your next contract, hopefully Denver can get rid of utterly useless DT and give you his money and more.
Cam sulking? Don't care. Crying about officials? Don't care. Superbowl Champion Denver Broncos, kickass.

I think his character was exposed and is something he needs to work on.
And I'm obviously talking onfield and not off field.

Yeah. He's gotta be better than he was in that conference, but he's pissed. He was shot kicked all night long.

That Denver defense is not only stellar, but the scheme that they employed gave Carolina very few options.

Unless you love Defense Defense Defense that was one the worst Superbowls i have ever seen. The offensive play calling was so bland. The only big play came off of a misread coverage on special teams. Nothing much to be excited about. No wow moments, just meh.
All i can hope is that the NFL's pride and joy drip Manning just retires.
Newton certainly did not play like a MVP in the most important game of his career.
It is funny i think of another destined HOF player...C.Woodson just walks away with class no farewell tour. Leaves as a probowler with respect amongst his teammates and opposition.
Manning i fully expect will milk every bit of attention and gratuities he can. Completely different characters.

Well he actually played well in those wins at least. The Broncos D basically dragged Peyton's carcass to a Superbowl.

Both QB "combined" QB rating was a meager 111. When the heck was the last time both QB's played put up such terrible stats in a Superbowl. The Winning team puts up 141yds passing.
So think well they established the run, nope 90yds total.
This will go down as one of the most poor displays of offense in a Superbowl.

I wasn't surprised by the out come. When you have the number 1 D in the NFL you're going to make things happen. Cam was running for his life all day long. They completely shut him down. He was pressured all game long, he couldn't even run with out 4 defenders on him. The Broncos rattled him. A good defence always wins. It's back to the drawing board for the Panthers.

Although if not for Manning, DeMarcus Ware never signs with Denver. Without the strong influence of Ware, Von Miller could have maybe become another Aldon Smith. So as much as Manning carcass was dragged along today....that same carcass was a big reason a lot of talent found its way to Denver.

I think Manning has accepted his role as a game manager but if he tries to go all "vintage Manning" then Denver's screwed. He better not start chucking those deep ducks every drive and audibling into passes constantly.

*cough cough*
Glad vintage Cam could make an appearance tonight and remind everyone what a baby he is out there sometimes. I was so impressed with the Bronco D tonight, they were dick-explodingly good. Should go down as one of the all-time great single season defences.
Love seeing Peyton get one on his way out, even if he was dragged through it.

Look at this from Thomas Davis: (somewhat gory)
Much respect for Davis. First, coming back from two torn ACL’s, then breaking his arm. Was he good to go? Who knows, but rather have guys like that out therr then guys like Cam not wanting to risk a deep bruise in the biggest game of their career.

Manning self serving and people are surprised at this. Shocking to no one that isn't a Denver fan.
