I don't see any issue with Yakupov celebrating like every player celebrates a goal.

You can even see Bennetts reaction drop as the game gets out of reach but if it was close he would still react.

if you can't understand the difference between a fist pump, a board bump, and a full on theo-fleury sprint+knee dive....

I can't help you. No one can.

Not to mention timing, situation (like a 6th with 30s left in the game, when they have 0), and general 'epic-ness of the goal' like a playoff clinching goal.

I feel like anyone who's played a competitive sport* understands this....

I was talking about the goal from last night.

But regardless people who complain about celebrations when games are close are the same people I feel yell at clouds.

Think throwing your arms up, facing the crowd, looking right at them is a bit much, a bit of a taunt. He was beside his own bench by the time he stopped skating to celebrate.

Pretty needless and given the foolish celebrations he's done before, you might understand why he's under the microscope.

I loved Backlund staring at the Canucks fan though.

Any kind of young kid celebration comparison talk should include Tomas Hertl's fourth goal. Like Bennett, it was a blow out game, not as late in the third period, but game was 7-2, at home. Scores a sick goal. Hertl celebrated a bit more than some might care for given the situation.
