^Not that I'm condoning it but the amount of exposure domestic abuse gets these days, you would think that's one of the last thing a pro athlete wants to do. So without knowing the whole story, hard to judge without knowing everything. Don't like the fact he physically abused her but there's a good chance he was getting emotionally abused as well. Otherwise pretty stupid to behave this way.

We're going to be doing a live draft show on Monday at 8:30 on periscope, we've also done multiple mock drafts on our site.
Keep an eye on our twitter and on our site for more information.

Just so you guys know, we (ownership) of CFLHorsemen had dinner with Huff last night, it was an amazing conversation, the football details of which I can't release, but were really interesting.
But we did confirm that there will be a Beers with Huff event which will probably be generously labeled (Heinekein with Huff) which goes with the themes of Guiness with Gord, Beers with Bauer and the original Beers with Ted.
This event is open to active members of our forum, Huff will pick a home game (looking like the later part of August) where we bring out members of our site about 2 hours before the game (at Nick's) and the Stamps President buys us beers and food and interacts with the fans, its a great event and something that he does for us exclusively, the only cost to the attendees is a donation to the Stamps foundation.
Anyways, details will be forthcoming soon.

Not a Stamps fan but a pretty cool idea. Good of Huff to do that.

the tradition started about 7 years ago when Ted Hellard lost a bet with a member of our board and bought our membership a pregame meal at Nick's.
Since then each incoming president has reached out to us to continue the tradition.
The Stampedes have been very good to our board and the fanbase as a whole.
In our 3rd year the Stamps accredited us and even got us Grey Cup Media Accreditation, so we were able to get our show host into the winning locker room to get exclusive comments. We are actually part of the Calgary media thanks to the Stamps.
We've had a ton of players appear on our pod cast, some have come on multiple times. When Ted left the organization he gave us an exclusive interview. We had Nik Lewis on twice and he was awesome as well.
Last year they stepped it up even more and Huff offered to be on the podcast, we had a good two hour interview with him. This year because the Fan Forum was cancelled, DD offered to come on our show.
Every year for the past 4 years, Huff meets up with the owners of our site to talk about the relationship.
Its been an awesome ride for us, and the Stamps have made it more then a website with a forum attached.

Confirmed by stamps twitter that they aren't planning on moving away from cash only at the concessions, except for Telus patio and the beer ticket windows. I think that is so shortsighted and weird that in 2016 they operate concessions like they are an afterthought and I would have thought the extra volume they could push through without people fumbling around for coins and change would offset merchant fees. Maybe they've experimented and it's a no go, but every game I go to the concessions are typically not able to operate fast enough to meet demand and a lot of people seem to bail on the lines. Wish they would reconsider, otherwise add about 5x as many ATMs

The amount of money the Stamps have left on the table just between the 4 guys I sit with because of their ridiculous cash only possible is staggering. None of us are going to miss a quarter of football to buy an additonal 2 beer (or more) and a cheeseburger. I bet they lose around $100 between the 4 of us each and every game.

Has NFL experience already. Lawless tweeted this afternoon that he heard he got an offer from New England after attending their mini-camp.

Stampeders pick Juwan Brescacin from Northern Illinois bio on ESPN says he was born in Mississauga, AB. Hmmm.. I never even heard of that city in Alberta. I think that is supposed to be Ontario.
Sucks that Stamps missed out on Timmins but Brescacin looks good. 6'4"receiver.
Missed out on Blaszko too but I didn't think we will have a chance on him anyways.

Wow, teams are just ignoring Onyemata probably because they think he will be in the NFL. I wouldn't mind of Stampeders gambling on him on their 4th round pick. He is not a sure pick NFL guy this season.

He was a 4th round pick, NFL teams don't discard their drafted players that quickly, he's gone for at least 2-3 years.
