Wasn't kicked in. It banked in off his skate as he spun around. Flukey goal though, I'll give ya that.

Need to shoot more and just drive the net. Too many wasted chances. Trying to be too fancy.

Not surprised Canucks won. Flames take it in Game 6 behind the home crowd. For some reason on the road the Canucks look lost in the playoffs.

Either way, was a legal goal then, became an illegal goal in the 90s and 2000s, and now is a legal goal again. Yay constant rule changes.

Luckily the Flames squeaked out Game #1 because they look just as lost on the road.

Yeah, I guess they have lost in the first too often. Out of 20 times they really should have made it to the second and third rounds more.
...................Flames........... Average
First ............ 13 ................. 10
Second ........ 3 .................. 5
Conference ... 1 ................... 2.5
Finals .......... 2 .................... 1.25
Cup ............ 1 .................... 1.25

Were you here the 2 games that the Flames completely clobbered the Nucks? Honest question, I don't remember cause my short term memory is shot!

Now that I've calmed down a bit, I just keep thinking about one thing. This is a seven game series, just like Hartley had said in his post game scrum. The flames are built for this. We won't win them all... just need to win the majority of them. I think the flames rookies got a real first hand experience what it's like playing against a team who is one game away from being eliminated from the post season. A lot different then the regular season. The team will regroup, refocus and use the crowds energy Saturday night to give them the best possible chance at closing out this series. Go flames go.

This is a young, inexperienced team. Really what did people expect? Part of the process. Flames won't lose three straight they'll either win in Calgary or Vancouver.

Giving up 4 straight goals after having a lead in the 2nd, I don't blame you.

I may be a little late but cmon,
this was a great game the boys came to play most of the game. Backlund and Bennett were outstanding, i thought their line played great!! First line needs to pick it up and get back to their usual ways especially on the PP. I have alot of confidence in the team for next game it was supposed to be a close series and it will be. My predictions for next game are that the first line will come out to play and they will be the difference makers, flames in six!!!
GO FLAMES GO!!!
#### the nucks!! ITS OUR TIME!!!!!

Also, with the character of this team I bet if the Flames advance, the next opportunity they have to eliminate someone, they do it.

Didn't see Ferland hit as much nor did I see him out there often. Wonder if anything is wrong or just riding the pine.

Good call, he only had 7 hits tonight.
A step back from his 8 hits in each of Games 3 and 4.

Flames were down by a goal and Hartley seemed to be riding the more skilled guys in the 3rd to try and generate some offence.

Ferland's icetime by period:
1st - 4:30
2nd - 4:00
3rd - 3:00
Only Bollig and Raymond played fewer minutes among forwards. In the third exclusively, Bollig, Raymond, and Jooris played fewer minutes.
