Yep, looks like they have started to settle in and the Canucks' energy has leveled off somewhat.
Too bad they didn't get out of it not being down 2, but now's the time to get going.

Flames have slowed the pace a bit, thank god. Starting to look a bit better the last couple of shifts.

This game has me way more calm than the last one. I prefer this. We'll be back in it by the end of the 2nd.

one goal is a 2 on 1 with a point blank shot
the other is a puck that sits in the slot for 5 seconds and then they have a shot from 3 feet away
Flames have 2 shots and no scoring chances...please use your brains

Exactly,
This game reminds me of the Mike Tyson/Lennox Lewis fight from all those years ago where Tyson gave everything he had in the first round and then got gassed, and got eaten up.
Brock Lesnar/Cain Valasquez from 2010 is another 1:1 example of what I think is going on.
Canucks are going to gas themselves out and then the Flames will eat them up. Simple physics.

I think we all knew the Canucks would have huge first 10 minutes - lose here and they're done.
Now the actual game begins.

Same as Bennetts hit earlier.
Hughson would rather say that one of his beloved Canucks fell rather than admit he was hit.

You guys are really letting Hughson bother you as if it remotely matters.
Calm down and watch the game.

Same here.
I can't explain it logically, but the Flames still look like the better team to me. Canucks are going to 'gas' a la Mike Tyson a la Brock Lesnar. We are playing the role of Lennox Lewis and Cain Valasquez.

As per usual Vancouver will blow their offensive load too early.
