Bennett doesn't slot out ever again.
Colborne OWNED that shift! That was incredible.
Hiller was a rock tonight. No way he doesn't get the nod on Friday.
Great pace to the game over all. Canucks experien e showed it's hand early in the game but the Flames peskiness and never quit attitude took over after that.
These guys are too young to know any better, this is going to bode well. Should be a fun series to watch. Especially if thats the pace all the games are going to go at.
So happy Sam Bennett established himself tonight.

This series is likely going to be Ferland's coming out party. Everyone should be talking about him.

Hahaha awesome! French reporter asks a French question, Hartley cuts her off "Uhh I will do it in English first, don't want to create a linguistics war". everyone laughs.

Bennett really looked like he brought Backlund and Colborne to a new level, a lot of promise in that line.

a bit of catching up in 1st...and we took over in the 3rd. We are going to win this series. The young guys just dont get tired and dont give up. Canucks think they did their homework but they underestimated us after 1st period.
We're winning this

So my Canuck fan friends can't articulate why the flames won. So funny. I can't either.

Good job Flames!
What a great game and effort by the youth!
If only Giordano could play...I think this team might have a cup run to the conference finals in them this year.

Not enough people talking about Backlunds role in Bennett having a great game. The whole line was good.

We have won, but too much 3on2, 2on1, not enough backchecking. Again entering our zone is extremely easy , canucks had lots of top scoring chances. We made no pressure in the middle zone to disrupt their transition. This led to huge possession dominance. I understand i sound pesimistic, it's just you will not win a series with this and i want to win.

I am really impressed with Ferland's effort. He came out after that first period gaff and really made his presence known in a much more beneficial way. Aside from setting up that goal he leveled Burrows a number of times.
