Tiger 3 over.
I want to see Tiger dominate again. But I'm afraid it's over for him.

Tomorrow is gonna be good. That double on 15 and par on 16 may come back to haunt Day though. Could have easily been 1 or 2 under on those 2 holes instead of 2 over.

Just a head's up. Brooke Henderson up 5 (-18 to-13) this weekend. She is only in the tourney because of qualifying on Monday. Next week is the Canadian open in Vancouver. They better let her join the tour next year.

They are destroying this course. -20 at a minimum seems like the winning score.

Henderson now up by 6 shots through 7 holes.
I'm at work and don't have Sirius radio or my telus account #. There is only Srius radio for the PGA Championship and I can't seem to find a free online feed to stream while i'm working.
Thanks to you updating the thread. This is killing me today!

If they had a mercy rule, today would be the day to use it. Up by 9 with 1 to play.

Awesome for Jason day as well...popular winner no doubt and the first guy to ever finish a major at -20.

New to posting but I had to get in on this thread. Jason Day's 50 foot putt was ridiculous and I feel like his win was a long time coming.

Crazy how much the windy weather on Thursday afternoon affected scores. 7 out of the top 20 had Thursday PM tee times (Spieth, Koepka, Lingmerth, Coetzee, Thomas, Rory and Phil). Only 4 of the top 16 had PM starting times. Of these only Lingmerth shot more than -1 on Thursday and Spieth, Rory and Thomas were the only other ones at even or better.
The average round 1 score of the 13 AM players that finished in the top 20 was 70 with only player over par (Dubisson - 76 4 over). The average score for the 7 PM players was 71 with one player less than 1 under (Lingmerth 67 5 under). Take out the two outliers in each group and the AM score drops to an average of 69 and the PM scores jump to 72.
Weather is part of golf but still interesting to look at afterwards and analysis a bit. Something also to keep in mind for anyone who plays fantasy golf on draft kings

Golf Is In A Very Good Place
We have to resist the hype and hyperbole, because we’ve given in so many times before and been burned: but 2015 really does feel like the year golf moved beyond Tiger Woods.
After Jason Day’s PGA Championship win, the Official World Golf Ranking has a new No. 1, and the most potential-laden Top 3 it’s had in years: Jordan Spieth, Rory McIlroy, and Jason Day, and if that’s what the top of the leaderboards look like for the next decade, golf couldn’t ask for anything more.

Have to agree with this opinion piece, this past season has been the most intriguing that I can remember in years. The sport has new stars and plenty of marketable storylines heading into next year.

If they are all tied for the lead going into the final round, who are people cheering for and against?

For me, I don't need to cheer against anyone. I find myself cheering for a close and exciting finish filled with spectacular shots and plenty of drama, and then in the end I'm happy with whichever one of the above guys wins.

There is a nice balance of nationalities there. I've noticed Americans cheer hard for Spieth and can't stand when British players when American events. So if it was those 2, I think it would be a big national pride rivalry.

I'm starting to feel that DJ is a lot like Greg Norman. I know that Norman won the Open twice, but other than that they are pretty close in the % of top 10s per major start.
His round yesterday was amazing. Who shoots 69 with a snowman of the first hole?! DJ that's who.
