Spoiler alert: She is still in favour of what she did. Oh, and she also needs funds for her legal fees.

At least she's also against the Vancouver aquarium too and not just conveniently picking on the Stampede...

What's wrong with that?
I believe there are some butcher shops here in town that carry horse meat. I'd be curious to try it.

Maybe you have already, if you ever ate at IKEA.

France, China, Kazakhstan, Indonesia, Germany, Belgium, Japan, Switzerland, Scotland.
I can't eat an animal I have as a pet and I have two horses. To me it is the same as eating dog or cat.

Probably better that the horse gets eaten than getting sent to the glue factory.

Probably better for ex racehorses to race chuckwagons than sent to the glue factory/slaughterhouse and eaten by some Quebecer.

I didn't realise they actually still made glue from horses. According to wikipedia;
"Gelatin, a form of animal glue, is found in many contemporary products, such as gelatin desserts, marshmallows, and pharmaceutical capsules...". I love Marshmallows! Great, now that's all I'll think about next time I see a marshmallow or jello.

I like this one the best:

It's time to end the horrific chuck wagon races! 60 horses have suffered and died in the past 28 years. Horses have died every year for the past 9 years. #GMC #GMCkillshorses #calgarystampede
So, while an average of 100,000 horses a year are slaughtered, the 2.14 horses a year that die at the stampede are the ones that suffer, since they are forced to live happily on farms, and run like they love too.
I'm pretty sure we should contact the presidents of all sports leagues, and let them know it's time to end the suffering of athletes, rather than allow them to love what they do, it would be best if we just slaughtered them to end the risk of deaths, it's much better for everyone.

Actually there are 7 different ways to raise veal. That is just one way.

But I bet you wouldn't care about the thousands of calves that would have to be cruelly genetically experimented on to reach your vision. You make me sick.

Planet Organic and Community Whole Foods sell Dandie's marshmallows made without Gelatin. Taste exactly the same!

How many animals are roadkill every year vs. Stampede? A quick google search brings up numbers like over 1 million per year in the US.
If anything I'd argue roadkill kill is much closer to 'cruel murder' than what happens at the stampede.

People really need to realize the stampede is NOT a necessity. It is for sheer entertainment. Terrible comparison.
