That was cosmic justice. Although it should have been Duncan Keith, who has been the dirtiest player on the ice... maybe dirtiest in the playoffs all around. What a chode.
And yeah I can't believe Toews mouthing off. At that point you should be concerned if the guy's alright. I know Backes isn't the most well-liked guy given how hard he plays but come on, he can barely stand, don't beak him.
Not sure what to do with that hit though. They called it charging, looks pretty borderline as far as skates off the ice.
I will also say, until the goal was scored I was pretty sure it was going to be a wasted chance again. STL was really looking like no one wanted to be the guy on that PP. Until there were 40 seconds left and it was looking desperate (at which point AP finally started firing point shots) they were way too passive. I still have to think Chicago's winning this, but it's overtime so who knows.
Toews classless? You have no idea what he said... lol
Backes is struggling to his feet with a trainer helping him up, Toews comes in and says something. The trainer pushes Toews away, and the two start yapping.
Steen comes over to help Backes and turns and clearly says "show some ####ing class".
Pretty cut and dry.

Agree, 19Yzerman, no one looked like they wanted the puck out there, except the young kid who doesn't know any better, and who has been targeted with dirt all game.
Tarasenko is playing fantastic hockey for a rookie, more or less.

A) it's the play offs
B) Backes is up wanting a piece of someone, he doesn't deserve a free ride.

Disappointing that the Hawks played so stupid that they totally blew the game. Hopefully they can come back. This has been a fantastic series, so I'm hoping it can be a long one.
