Agreed... Backlund has been the most consistent player so far.. if anything he should be a part of the Ovechkin shut down line

Backlund should be on the second line. I like Colborne with Cammy though, they're performing well together.

Good to see Cammi isn't mailing his performance now that most of our vets have been dealt away. Thought he would pout like Glencross seems to be doing, but good to see otherwise.

Really like Rick Ball. He should be calling a game every week imo; probably CBC's best play-by-play guy outside of maybe Hughson.

I actually didnt worry about him at all. Of all the veterans, I think he had the most drive of anyone aside from maybe Gio. He needed the lazy guys to leave the team so he could inject his effort and attitude into the younger players
