You could always switch hands. That might make it easier on you.

But your mother doesn't like the way my left hand feels on the back of her head.

Well I think it depends on how fast the girl is and how long you have to chase her...

I wonder when we'll see the Ovechkin appreciation thread. He now has 31 goals in his last 30 regular season games, and 9 in his first 9 games this year.

Personally I wouldn't put Carl Lewis or especially Michael Schumacher in there. (Schumacher especially takes a hit because he got flat out beaten by Mika Häkkinen in 1998 even though Ferrari was clearly better than McLaren that year. He has greatly benefitted from Ferrari being technically and strategically better than the competition for many years.)

Usain Bolt hasn't had the longevity yet.

Athletes who absolutely need to be there:
Alexander Karelin (Wrestling, one of the most dominant athletes ever, won every tournament for 13 years, and went six years without giving up a single point to anyone.

The man was a true freak of nature and probably the most dominant athlete I have ever seen.)

I would also like to include:
Sebastian Löeb (rally driving, 9 consecutive world championships)
Sergey Bubka (pole vault, 6 consecutive world championships spanning 24 years)

And yeah, Crosby is not even in the discussion, nor has he really shown any signs of being in that category IMO.

Whoa, I had no idea. I read Lemieux's book as a kid, but either I don't recall it written in there, or it was left out.

Regardless, thanks for that - quite interesting.

The above are people who utterly dominated their field of sport for many years.

Does Wayne Gretzky deserve to be included with the above elite stars? Yes he does.

Does Sidney Crosby deserve to be included? Right now, no he doesn't.

/nuff said. Done.
Disagree with Carl Lewis because he was a cheat, and Michael Schumacher, who himself has said Ayrton Senna is the best Formula 1 driver ever.

Still hasn't gotten old. One of the best hockey gifs of all time in my open lol. If Ovechkin actually busted his ass on that play like he does when a puck like that is in the offensive zone I think he has a chance to make a great play. That's the difference between a all-star player and an offensively gifted player.
