Haha, that's awesome. Sweet Hudler distracting Cervenka while he's likely trying to see the replay of his goal. Nicely done. Lol

fun game to watch last night.
almost felt like old times, iggy scoring, kipper being kipper.
2 decent games back to back, however, both teams came in to play their 2nd of back to backs.
flames need to string more Ws together to claw their way back to relevancy as far as playoff talk goes.

If they can play like this all the time, they should have no trouble passing a few teams. They just have to keep the intensity up and and not take any nights off. I couldn't watch the game but I was constantly checking my phone for scores. At the end of the second I figured it was still anyone's game. They HAVE to keep playing like this every game from here on out!

That could be the 1st game this season that goaltending was a positive difference for us. I hope they can keep it up.

If the team puts an effort to it infront of KIpper, I donīt doubt him letting the team down. Hopefully he has totally overcome his injury though.
Was sweet, although when I take off my glasses the last two games have been against teams without much energy. They still need to keep this "streak" going if they want to overcome the bad losses earlier.

Great effort by the Flames, but my god are the Sharks ever terrible. They are fifth in the conference right now, but their home record is all that is saving them. They struggle in the HP Pavilion for any length of time, and they are in play as a bubble team we can pass.
The Flames have seven more goals for than the Oilers, in one less game. Of course, we also have seven more goals against. I suspect healthy Kipper will change that.
Joordano is terrible. I'd almost rather have Sarich in the lineup at this point. His brutal giveaway that cost Kipper the shutout came not long after he single handedly killed one of our powerplays.
That Iggy-Hudler-Cervenka line is something fun to watch.

Woot. On the way 9th spot and the cusp of the playoffs here we come.
Oops, I forgot that means NO playoffs and not a great pick and more retooling for a playoff push.
I cant be too excited about that!

They had a losing steak at the pond before that too. Since 1999 the flames are 1-16-8... If this flames team is going to continue to push they haaaaaaave to get over that hump, I feel like this is the roster to do it!!!!

Happy for Blake Comeau finally scoring with a nice snipe. He has a really good wrister and needs to shoot more! Hopefully this confidence carries on.
The past few games, he's always been around the puck but the offense always died in the offensive zone. I can see why Hartley wanted to try him at center, he just sucks at faceoffs.

Flames need to win 2 out of their next 4 games for them to have a serious shot of keeping in good position for the playoff race. There are a lot of teams both above and below them that are competing for that spot as well. Flames will need win a lot more than not if they want to outpace those surrounding teams.
Still a far way from making 8th place still. They'll have to have multiple +3 game winning streaks for every one loss.

I am glad that this season the Flames seem to be able to win against contenders. It's an interesting team to watch... but they're quite unstable. I can only imagine what it must be like to coach a group like this. They are capable of winning, the confidence is inconsistent though. Hopefully they can keep it going.
Again, can't say enough about how huge Hudler has been for this team. Talk about underrated!
All of him, Cammalleri and Stempniak are all playing near a point per game. Perhaps expected of Cammy, but these other two have been a great surprise. For some reason I believe Hudler will be able to maintain that pace and maybe find another gear in the playoffs should we make it in. Stemp... keep it up buddy!

Stempniak is impressing still. He always had flashes where he showed this kind of ability, but this is the longest I have seen him maintain it. He has turned into a great 2-way player for us.
I think he probably deserved that empty netter last night. I think if Glencross would have left it, it still would have gone it. Still better to safe than sorry though.
