Good to see Graham Delaet made the cut as he birdied three holes on the back nine, including the 13th which is the toughest hole on the course. Making the cut in his first major is a terrific accomplishment. The guy has some great skills, but he's showing some mental toughness as well.

I picked westwood, donald and deleat in my pool. Deleat may climb well up the leaderboard tomorrow with an early tee time. I think the later groups tomorrow go well over par.
Finally, dont overlook the other pga tour event as brad fritche is top ten after 2 rounds. He can go low if he gets on a roll.

Deleat is dead last.
Looks like the course is playing tough again...not many under par today.

Deleat birdies 17 and 18 to finish a bit better.
Garcia shoots a 68...so scores are out there to be made.

Looks like i jinxed delaet. Damn.
As an aside, the golf channel gave weir some huge love and props during friday coverage on the other pgatour event. Swing analysis from years ago vs today, long interview after his round, and really positive comments. Good to see.

ESPN trying so hard to manufacture a Woods vs Mickelson thing...drives me nuts.
So many other good staories they could be showing but are completely ignoring.
Matsuyama is tied with Phil...but nary a mention and he has a better round going.
Justin leonard is right there too...but not a peep.
Day, Clarke, Scott.....all yet to be seen in the last hour.
Awful.

ESPN is always like this. When NBC shows the US Open it's not as bad.

Matsuyama has bogeyed two in a row, you won't see him again.
Westwood just eagled to take the lead, they must show him now.

Westwood dropping one from Northern Ireland. First thing I saw this morning was Martin Laird's disasterous 9 that included two swings where he didn't move the ball.

The worse part about ESPN is anytime a non-Phil/Tiger player falls more than two shots back of the lead we don't see them anymore, but Phil and Tiger could be 15 shots back and we'd see every shot.

No way you see many of Mickelsons shots if he is 15 back. He is not given close to the Tiger treatment. We may get to see that as well as he is playing like crap now and will drop to at least +2.
Not a fan of Westwood but better him than Tiger so would like to see him put up a really low number to take the Tiger BS out of it tomorrow, but likely still force fed how close he is and how he is ready to make a run no matter how far back he is.

Tiger has a little jump in his step all of a sudden...good to see.
Amazing how quickly that leaderboard changed in 2 holes.

Charl Schwartzel has 6 feet left for eagle after driving the 448-yard par 4 15th. Think its dry out there much?

Its just goofy actually.
I understand the fast greens etc as making it a true test of all aspects of the game...but that kind of thing is just absurd.
The other day Westwood hit a perfect drive right down the middle of 15 IIRC...but it rolled out so far it ended up in a bunker that should have never ever been in play off the tee. Over 400 yds as well...from a normal tee shot.

Several guys have been hitting 5 irons north of 300 yards. Great for the driving average but it has to be weird standing on the tee not knowing how far the ball could go.
Hunter Mahan posts -1, could be the leader going into tomorrow.

Haha espn: "even if westwood makes bogey on 16. Tiger is guaranteed birdie on 17."
