He was unhappy with the arbitrator's ruling and he left for the KHL. But when a player walks away from an arbitrators ruling they are held to it if/when they return to the NHL. So when Hudler returned her had to accept teh abritrators ruling and play out that contract.

Wasn't a huge fan of this as I thought he was a center, but if he can indeed play on his off wing, I like it. Comparable stats to Doan and Jagr, but much younger

If you would reciprocate then you could go on to work on getting enough Fan Ballots for Stempniak to be a write in for the all star game

Its funny, I always thought he was a C, but every memory I have of him is also sniping goals from low percentage areas. Too bad, I thought he could play C for Iginla - the guys got top tier skill and vision.

That's only partially true.
Whatever various shortcomings they may have, Smith, Gio, Butler, Brodie all skate extremely well. Wideman isn't the fleetest, but he's hardly slow. Mobility on the back end is the least of our worries, which is not to say the team must move Bouwmeester at any cost, either.

I'm guessing with Hrudler signing in Calgary means the Wings are going a different direction, like targeting both Parise and Suter.

looking only at faceoff numbers here, but I am pretty sure he was a winger exclusively since he only took 7 faceoffs this past season

That's awesome... you have me on ignore, yet read and replied to my post to point you you have me on ignore.
It lines up with your other spewings of terrible logic and talking yourself into a circle without saying anything.
As always, well played.

Well I'm hardly an expert on the Red Wings. A Detroit fan's views would be appreciated. There have been times when either Datsyuk or Zetterberg have been hurt, or perhaps playing with each other temporarily, maybe Hudler did play some center then. Or in the KHL. But I don't see him as a center at all myself, based on what I remember.

Forward group is actually starting to shape up and, unless Feaster has some big trades brewing, I think it's safe to say this signing shows Feaster is comfortable having Cammy play centre.
Tanguay - Cammy - Iggy
Sven - Cervenka - Hudler
Glencross - Backlund - Stempniak
Bouma - Jones - Jackman
extra: Comeau, Nemisz/Horak

Only a little over 2 minutes of power play per game too - if he can continue to be productive at ES an uptick in PP time should definitely help his point production.

Hearing this makes me feel better about it

How old was Stajan when Sutter signed him to his current contract?
You can't simply judge contract lengths based on age

Boston barely survived the Eastern Conference... 3 game 7s? If Vancouver weren't such pansies, they'd have won that series in a walk. I think Boston will struggle from now on and we will see that 2011 championship as a fluke. As much as we hate Vancouver, they should have won that one.
I like the Blackhawks championship model of 2010. Puck control, fast and skilled. Covering all of the ice.

Size with speed is one thing. Depth down the middle is a whole other ball of wax.
