My best friend is the great great great grandson of Darwin. We bought a boat in Brazil, chugged up and down the river conducting research in the forest and co-authored a couple of papers.

Comandante Edi was the name of the boat. Hasn't got the same ring as The Beagle. Fella is very well established now as an ecologist and is pretty secretive that he's a direct descendant.

Neat, my uncle claims to have tracked our genealogy back and that we too are related to Captain Cook.
