The interesting thing is the managers at the bottom of the snake draft are doing well, and the managers with the top picks, not so well.
Maybe it is an advantage to pick late, and get another pick right away? In my case, not so much (my first two picks are not doing that great). Good late round picks are probably making the difference (and being healthy).
Also, the old guys are doing well.

That could be the case (about picking late) and its definitely interesting. I also think that its November 1st though and there is a lot of movement left to come....at least I hope so! I really hope that the Oilers begin to fail miserably anyday now and keep the going through the season, and hope that the Maple Leaves begin their quest for mediocrity over the near future as well.

You showered me with peanuts for that pick.
Should be close all year - projections:
Vlad = 625
trout = 624
Aeneas = 621
Six managers are averaging between 0.77 and 0.73 ppg.

I got showered for picking Lupul! Surely the Oiler stain has worn off him?
Only kidding on Hemsky, I would never pick an Oiler or Canuck. Leino will be on fire soon, or fired, or light a fire soon, something.

Meh. Its still early. I don't know if anyone has noticed, but Sidney Crosby is coming back and will win the scoring title. When he averages 1.5 PPG that should be enough to bring me to victory!
(Or there could be major injuries to a lot of guys yet to come and the standings could change drastically)

Not doing too shabby. The youth culture I've engendered with Voracek, Couturier and Skinner is paying off. Okay, mostly just Skinner, but hey, I'm only 6 points off the Russian lawyer....

Yup. The winner's team will have to stay healthy.

I have faith. Aeneas and Malcolm's top scorers are Leafs, and troutman's top scorer is a Predator. They'll come back down to earth sooner or later. The real wildcard for me are Vlad's two Sabres.

I've been stuck in the 8-12 rut all year. Don't see coming out of it. Green and Bert have sucked bad. Filatov was a right off.

15. Hesla - 89
16. FurnaceFace - 88
