Kind of off topic to what you guys are discussing but it is Stamps related so I'll put it here.
I am very interested in going to the Stamps locker room sale this weekend, however I am not a season ticket holder. Would anyone be willing to send me a PM of the email to get early access tomorrow at 4 PM instead of having to go Saturday morning?
I would really appreciate it as I would like to have access to the best possible selection!

To add to all of the coaching drama, it also sounds like the Roughriders are going to talk to Dave Dickenson about their head coaching position.

I thought they are pretty much ready to sign Corey Chamblin. Coach Marcel just got fired in Hamilton so there's a possibility Riders might go after him as well.

It's apparently just an interview for DD. He also interviewed in Edmonton last season too, so it might not amount to anything.
I do believe the Roughriders will go with someone else, but you certainly never know.

I am guessing Hamilton fired MB so quickly so they could lock down Chamblin and not let the Riders get him.
DD is not ready to be a head coach, I think even he'd admit that. He needs a little bit more experience IMO under his belt.
Also, the clock isn't ticking...next year, the year after etc, he'll still be a prime candidate (goodness knows if Steve Burrato lasted as long as he did, DD has about a decade of time to get a HC gig) in most places as they come up. Plus, getting a HC job too early has you run the risk of tarnishing your reputation and not developing as a coordinator coach properly, when you have to wear many hats as opposed to being focused on one this early in a career.

What a mess. Lose your Defence and Offence cordinators in the same off season. Too much for any team to get past. Jones was expected to be scouting the Bowl games etc for Huff.
What an absolute mess.
Stamps must make Toronto has pay for this on and off the field.

The league fined Toronto a whole $5,000 today for tampering.
TSNDaveNaylor Argos fined $5,000 for tampering with Calgary defensive co-ordinator Chris Jones, who was under contract through 2012.
What a joke of a fine.

Way to go CFL! That will teach them! They will never do that again.
Meanwhile Barker's on the phone with Fantuz's agent even though he's still under contract to the Riders......because he can.

Proof that the CFL is a sham. As Canadians we love our CFL teams, our unique game, we love our team colors, and the Blue collar CFL players, but the league is just like that fine a complete joke.
The CFL is one pile of hypocracy from certain refs to the front office.
Rotten to the core.

Chomp change for David Braley. I bet you he didn't even notice his team (one of them) just paid a fine. Stamps lost Chris Jones and some of the future Stamps that he's recruiting for nothing. How come Toronto (no matter in what league) always get away with everything. Next season whenever I see Toronto lose by 20 or more, i will enjoy it knowing teams
figure out Jones defense.

Chalk up another in the long line of ridiculous league office cowering:
It once was Hugh Campbell who had the pull, recently highlights included
a) a trade where they made a trade with Hamilton near the end of the year to get a couple decent players in return for future considerations...which were going to be Jason Maas, but not until the Esks were done with him at the end of the season.
b) Getting a provincial judge, and Eskimo season ticket holder, to overturn the 1 game suspension AJ Gass got for a roid rage incident where he ripped of a Stamps' players helmet and tossed it.
The lack of any discipline for Jason Jimenez when he ended Anthony Gargulio's career with a dirty low hit.
Now a slap on the wrist for the team owned by the new guy with the pull at the league office, the one who has two teams and the league eating out of his hand. Ridiculous precident set by this for pursiut of players and coaches. If I'm Huff, and the league has no teeth to any of their rules, I dust off the Personal Services Contract template from the Ryckman days and start spending away.
Can't wait for the Stamps to run some halfback option passes and onside kicks late in games to run the score up against the Argos next year.

He was the Stampeders running backs coach in 2010.

Why bother fining them?
More proof that the CFL is a joke and barely a league or a sport.
