Player of the season has to be Boston Rob. He has the fan base, and he's playing a great game. Looks like he could go far as long as Philip stays crazy enough to annoy people.

When Mike passed Matt that note promising him top 3, weren't there 2 or 3 other people sitting there watching? How dumb do you have to be to believe it when a group of people just promised to take you further into the game than some of the people sitting there making that promise? This has always bugged me, is there such thing as a "pre med" program in the States?

Like is there an actual step between your undergrad, applying and being accepted/enrolled in med school that is called "pre med"?

Or is it just something people say that are doing a degree and have the intent to apply for med school?

I.E. I could say I am pre med because I may at some point try and apply for med school, or I am pre med because I am at this point in the enrollment process..

Right now Rob controls the game, I'm assuming he's going to decimate the other tribe down to 1 member leaving a count of 7.

He's already got Phillips vote as long as he promises him a ride to the final three. He'll protect the last remaining member of the other tribe in exchange for that person's vote. That would give him 3 votes, and he just needs to promise one of the hot chicks a ride to the final 4 and he'll have a majority.

I was surprised at how poorly he performed in the challenges yesterday, he needs to win at least one so that he can hold off on using the II til he can really use it.

I still have a gut feeling that we're going to see a final 4 with the last survivor of redemption island being bought back then.

The only potential wild card for Rob is Grant. Everything seems fine between the two right now, and Grant is simply beast-mode in challenges, but how long will it last? Has Rob promised Grant a top 2 spot? I feel like Grant may decide to become his own boss over the next couple weeks and try to find a way to supplant Rob. It's very risky mind you. If Rob even catches a sniff of a mutiny he'll quash it with an Iron Fist. No, a Golden First... no he'll quash it with one of these:

The thing thats hilarious is that Rob has been a gentle assassin this time around. He's had blind sides where people have blamed themselves for getting punted. But I haven't even seen where he's lied except for the immunity idol.

I'm hoping that this years jury isn't filled with whiny losers complaining that Rob or whoever is in the final four had no integrity and betrayed their friendship.

Rob runs this game like a boss, he is the best player this game has ever seen because he is able to adapt... unlike russell who is also a great player but nowhere near that of Rob.

Rob is hilarious to very enjoyable to watch i love how he named the tribe after a made up word and everyone jumped all over it.

I also love that hes a sox fan but thats besides the point.

I really hope he wins this and as the captain says doesnt get screwed by a stupid bitter jury. I think a guy like David and the old T-rex would vote for Rob as they appreciate his game play and clearly Rob is carrying his whole team with the exception of Grant who is just a beast

When Rob first played he really rode Amber's coat tails and he was the hammer in that team or the thug in that team.

When he came back he was fairly arrogant.

This time he's lost that arrogant edge and he's playing the game that Amber did.

Are you kidding?? It was so the other way around. Rob made all th moves in that season. He was responsible for saving Amber when she was forced to switch tribes. Rob's lie to Lex was perfectly carried out and then he made the move to get Big TOm out. Amber did NOTHING. She won because she didn't piss people off. And you can make the case that was her plan all along. I don't buy that, but some people do.

But in no way was Rob riding any coat tails. He made the decisions. He made the moves. He was the man in that season like he is in this one. Only this time around, he doesn't have people hating him. Well, not yet at least.

And the season with ROb and Amber was Rob's second time playing the game. The Rob and Amber season was the first All Stars Season.

my thoughts as well, Rob absolutely dominated that season and like VFF says lost for the same reason Russell lost the last two seasons. People hated him, he dominated so hard and hurt their feelings that even though he was by far the best player of the season

just like this season

To go from rice to crazy to the n word in a matter of seconds is fascinating. I don't blame them for keeping him around, he's going to keep the heat off of Rob and the rest as long as he's around. Might as well keep him around as long as you need him.

And I can't handle too much more religious talk. If there really was a jesus or god I'm pretty sure they'd have a bit more on their plates rather than worry about how some guy on a tropical island is doing on a game show trying to win a million dollars. Give it a rest.

That Julie has pissed me off since she back stabbed Russell, or mislead or whatever you want to call it.

So glad to see her gone, and I see zero chance of her winning the next challenge.

Sucks she made the jury because I will have to put up with her again, but I am pretty sure she will vote for Rob so that is good. Rob is probably thanking his lucky stars he never voted Phil out, so far anyway..

You have to admit that though he acts like he's got a screw loose, Phillip makes for entertainment.

If one of Rob's brainless bimbo coat-tail rider's win the mill, I may have to go postal on their eye-rolling a$$es.

Bottom line, Rob is brilliant, he knows that he has to take Phillip to the jury now, Phillip even stated that nobody in a jury is going to vote for him.

Look for the rest of the oppossing tribe to get gunned out over the next two weeks.

Rob's biggest threat is Matt on redemption island right now.
