Interesting. I thought Tippett played a part in Maloney getting ousted in Arizona, I wonder if your sources know about this or can verify/debunk this.
Also don't know if Treliving would already have Tippett as a done deal without seeing what else is out there after the season ends.
Wouldn't be opposed to him though, based off his record with Dallas and his first few years in Arizona. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah Tippett is not a sure thing. You have several high profile coaches that might come on the market plus you're telling me they would leave GG flapping in the breeze if they already had a deal?

Knowing Treliving watch Quinvelle and AV become available and GG gets fired quick we all think omg here we go!! Dave Tippett rumoured to be next head coach of the Flames haha.

Somebody else said ownership wants Sutter as coach. I expect a tons of rumours to start coming out in the next few weeks. Internal talks probably have begun.

As mentioned would be very surprised if it’s Tippett given how the dismantling of Phoenix went down. Tippett won the power struggle between the two and got a 5 year extension and a promotion the same day Maloney was fired.

Im done with this team if we get anyone else from the Coyotes organization. This is madness at this point if we get Tippett. My God does anyone care about entertainment? what a boring coach.

I mean yeah, they were boring to watch during that era, but I think that spoke more to a game plan designed around their players' offensive abilities (or lack thereof) as well as a really good goalie who could face a lot of shots.

Are we seriously building the Coyotes 2.0. ? I'll Take Q or AV or Sutter 100 times before I want Tippett any where near this team. One boring Brent Sutteresque systems coach fails so we need to run out and get another?

Coyotes did go to the conference finals one year with Tippett, Smith, Maloney and Treliving. That's still better than ECHL finals runner up.

Is this a joke? Brian hasn't worked in the NHL in 14 years, and Brent hasn't had a sniff since the Flames let him go in 2012.
