The show is actually brilliant. I think the second half of that season is probably the best stuff they've ever done. Episode 7 wasn't the strongest but all of the others were amazing. Just finished them last night.

If you have access to it, I highly recommend the Hulu show Solar Opposites. It's a little weird the first couple of episodes with the animation and voices so close to R&M, but it quickly finds it's own footing and is hilarous in it's own right. It's ridiculous that there's no legal way to watch it in Canada yet

Yeah a few episodes in it really hits its stride and starts to separate itself from that unshakable R&M universe spinoff feel.
Entertainment value is absolutely on par when it gets going and I'd say it impressively manages to be even more inappropriate.
Corvo and Rick are both amazing Roiland characters. I just can't get enough of them.
This is one of my current favourite shows on tv. Love Rick and Morty.

I... I... I hate you for posting this. Now I'm going to be in torturous agony until I get to watch this (which likely won't be until late next week, ugh)

Don't get me wrong, I love Rick and Morty, but part of me wishes they would flesh out a more coherent overall story arc like The Venture Bros. Could be very loose but something interesting to play with especially with all the episodes that Adult Swim has ordered. Anyways, still love the show, but think they should start taking things to another level.
