I am no US TV market expert but is there a lot of overlap between Boston Red Sox and St. Louis Cardinal fans and people interested in the Vegas/Edmonton series?

I guess they obviously know more than me and maybe they are hoping that Boston and St. Louis are hockey markets but hard to imagine that Bostonians are excited to stay up past midnight to watch that game.

Lots of people want to watch the baseball game. Lots of people want to watch the hockey game. ESPN loves it when there’s lots of people watching. So, it makes sense to have the games be consecutive.

People don’t even need to watch the game. We’ve already been told it’s going to game 7.

I would love to see a game where the refs swallow their whistles the whole night and the Oil get shut out on home ice. That would be the best.

That’s the question for sure
If it’s called like every other playoff game, the oilers won’t stand a chance
I suppose we will find out in the first 5 minutes how things will turn out
God i hope they keep the whistles in their pockets

I predict the Oilers will get a PP within the first 2 minutes of the game. Hopefully Vegas can hold off the McPP and get their feet under themselves before things get out of hand.

Oilers fall apart tonight. Everything goes against their script. We all question whether the league is truly rigged for Edmonton. Knights go on to lose to the Kraken (who win Game 7) in the WCF. I go on to serve time for throwing fish at random people. Circle of life.

Feels like a 4-2 Oilers victory. Edmonton will go 4/5 on the PP and Vegas will go 1/6 so the Oilers fans can still complain that the refs didn't give them as many powerplays. The parade to the penalty box will completely disrupt the flow of the game and McDrai will play 30+.

At least that's my prediction so I'm not going to watch and save my sanity.
