Which is weird because he was on Growing Pains for a couple of years prior to What’s Eating Gilbert Grape

Watched Uncut Gems on Netflix.

If you're an Adam Sandler fan its not bad.

The Weeknd has a cameo.

His first movie "This Boys Life" is pretty dedicated great too. How lucky does one have to get to play the lead role along side DeNero.

I can't imagine an Adam Sandler movie that would be LESS appealing to people who consider themselves "Adam Sandler fans" than Uncut Gems.

Great movie, loved it, but not one I would recommend on the basis of being an Adam Sandler fan lol.

Just watched Psycho Goreman. For anyone who loves gory, irreverent B movies, this is just great. And it's told primary from the viewpoint of a psychopathic 12 year old girl, and that is never addressed, which is awesome. So much respect is given to the audience to keep up with the narrative, it is really refreshing, and all of the effects are practical!

Just fantastic.

I was pretty underwhelmed by Uncut Gems. The Safdie Brothers are pretty overrated imo.

It brought out an emotion in me that I don't think I've ever experienced in a movie before - anxiety. I totally felt immersed in it when the camera was facing Sandler while he was walking around hustling. From that perspective (literally), it was brilliant.

I watched "The Dig" on Netflix. I thought it was a very good movie about archeology pre ww2. Half based on reality and the other half a novel.

Watched it as well on Sunday. I did not walk away feeling I'd wasted my time. Mr. Fines usually doesn't disappoint.

Ya, I felt is was a nice enough character piece. Not much for content in there as a history, or actual narrative drama. I'd give it a very watchable rating, but I probably wouldn't go around telling people they need to watch it. And I had some preexisting awareness of Sutton Hoo, so I was somewhat looking forward to it.

We watched the movie In and Of Itself last week. Very interesting concept, it really pulls you in and is unlike anything else I've seen in a while. All the word of mouth I heard on it is to try not to know anything about it before watching it, and I would agree. The less you know going in, the better. Which makes this a very strange recommendation I will admit.

It's on Hulu in the US and we rented it on YouTube.

About 8 years late to the party, but finally got around to watching Now You See Me.

One of the better movies I've seen in a while.

So I've heard. My buddy wanted to the next night, I managed to convince him not to.

Just watched the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Thought it was great. Liked it better than the book.

Caught Greed today with Steve Coogan. The phony documentary around Sir Richard a greedy billionaire who exploited everyone in the fashion industry. Really well acted, a wicked dark comedy about the rise and fall of a greedy mogul, with an absolutely satisfying yet terrifying ending.

I actually came here just to post exactly this

Wind River was the weakest of the bunch I thought, but still very good.

Sicario and Hell or High Water, absolutely fantstic

Haven't started Yellowstone yet but I think I'm gonna have to

That's not hard. The book sucks. Never understood why it was so popular.
