Also wonder if Waddell is going about this in the way Conroy did some of his deals last year, supposedly. Has Waddell received an offer he likes and sent out the ‘last call’ and is waiting to see if any other team is going to up the ante.

I get the feeling that the hold up might have something to do with someone's no trade clause. I have nothing to back that up, but there seemed to be traction on social media only for it to go silent.
I trust our insiders on here, and wish this had something to do with the Flames but I know its not likely.

Just as an update, I was told the rumored Philly trade was blocked due to a player not willing to waive.
I will add that this seems odd to me given what pieces that would be, doesn't make sense to me.
Columbus wants a "hockey deal" and not a futures deal.
I did not hear anything about Ottawa - But Sec has confirmed that's gone as well.

So Couturier, Sanheim, or Seeler? Assuming it's from the Philly side, of course. Can't see COlumbus wanting Couturier, and Seeler would just be a part of the return. Sanheim seems too high.

Coutourier seems unlikely. With Monahan and Fantili already taking 1&2 C, I think. Unless there’s an understanding they flip him to a contender or place of his choosing/sign off.
Seeler perhaps?
