Just watched the last half of the Cavalry / York 9 game. What a #### show. A few comments:

- Both teams were just completely undisciplined. You could see the ref was trying to get a hold of the game by issuing yellows but failing miserably.
- Escalante got baited by Telfer and he fell for it. Just like he baited Esua in Edmonton. Stupid play by him IMO.
- I don't think Mavila's first yellow was warranted. The second yellow was.
- Telfer was really running his mouth the whole time.
- Why doesn't Tommy slow things down in injury time and use his third sub? To me, that is a tactical misstep by him.
- Why doesn't the ref blow the whistle in the 96th minute with Cavalry in possession in the corner? That's ridiculous, and you can see Ledgerwood screaming at the ref to blow the whistle. On the other hand, the whole Cavalry side has stopped playing as they have expected the whistle and 15 seconds later York score.
- Lastly, WTF is with the York 9 coach trying to enter the Cavalry bench? How has this not been a topic of conversation anywhere?

That said, the three suspensions actually work in Cavalry's favour as it forces them to rotate the lineup a bit tomorrow night and rest some bodies in the lead up to the final. Not really a big deal with nothing to play for.

Thoughts on who plays at LB tomorrow night? Does Malyk Hamilton slide over there? Maybe even Zator? Am I missing any other options?

I’d play Hamilton there myself. It is a good opportunity to get him some minutes as the season is ticking down

It's probably good to get Mavila a rest. He must have played almost every minute this season.

I really wish Jordan Brown was getting more minutes. I prefer him over Malonga.

Kids Up Front (https://www.kidsupfrontcalgary.com/d...onate-tickets/) accepts ticket donations and gives them to kids. I donated my pair for tonight's game already. I think they accept them until 2 PM on game day. If they would otherwise go unused it's not a bad option.

Feels a bit dirty, but it would be nice to see Edmonton get a result tonight as well vs. Forge. I see their 2 point lead in the standings as somewhat illegitimate after the refereeing disgrace vs. York9, and if that correction comes via Edmonton, then so be it.
