Is it me or does it seem like he’s got more behind his kicks than a few years back when Dave wasn’t even having him attempt 50 yard kicks?

Met Dave at Chinook today. Had a brief conversation. Congratulated him on getting VA. He was like you that hey haha.

They want Philpot back but he’s not sure said it’s a 50/50.

They will be making changes and yes he said we have VA but now we need to go get him weapons. They plan to be aggressive.

Great guy and down to earth.

Yeah one of the reasons I was hoping he would not get fired is that he's a really good person and pretty devoted to the city which is the kind of person you want to keep around an organization. He needs to be better next season and I think he will.

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have hired Brent Monson as the team’s defensive coordinator, 3DownNation has confirmed. The news was first reported by TSN’s Farhan Lalji.

Monson had agreed to become defensive coordinator with the Toronto Argonauts but ran into a contractual snag. Scott Milanovich and the rival Ticats take advantage.

youd think the Stamps will be announcing replacements for coaching roles soon. Wonder who they have lined up.

Just goes to show how there's just not enough good coaches to go around. A guy like Monson should not be a sought after defensive coordinator. The Stamps failings weren't all on him by any means but his defenses were average at best and pretty poor the past few seasons.

More like MOnson took advantage of the Ti-Cats lol.

Mark Washington played with Dave in BC, wonder if we give him a look. Ryan Phillips was mentioned here before; he played with Dave in BC as well.

Josh Bell former Stamp as well.

DD hiring his brother as ST co-ordinator is the least surprising thing ever.

Yeah I think that one was probably in the works since he was fired by the Riders. Slowik is an interesting DC hire at 70 years old.

Looks like Nik Lewis is gone as well.

Looking at the history for Slowik he has been a coordinator in the NFL has well. Most of his stops have all been 1 year as a DC. He is also 70.

I'm excited about the additions of John Bowman and Barron Miles.

2 areas we have slipped has been our line play both sides, but our coverage hasn't been the best. When we dominated, we excelled in both areas.

I like Houston, but I think he needs some coaching to not always try to go for the INT but just make the play.

It's no surprise that we had some dominant former players coaching those positions. Claybrooks and Mace. Josh Bell.

I met Claybrooks at National once. He bought all the girls with me drinks but didn't get me anything. He saw my sad face and bought me a beer afterwards lol.

Yikes. 2024 will certainly be a year to forget for the Stampeders. I hope that management takes these grades seriously and implements a course of improvement as those are poor grades. Looks like all teams don't do a great job in the food department. They need to start stocking up on the Uncrustables which have become an NFL staple.
