Diegooooooooo! Champion mentality to get that break back. He is definitely relying on recent experience beating Nadal on clay.

Nadal FHDTL makes an appearance. Danger for Diego. Diego has to improve his serve to stand a chance.

Diego's serve is his greatest weakness which is impossible to hide. Nadal has upped his play here, I wonder how much energy Diego has after that 5hr epic

Diego will never be a power server but he has to pick his spots and try to shield his second serve as much as possible. He's in many of the rallies. But man that serve.

One thing that bodes well for going forward is his baseline positioning. He's much closer than before. It will help him against Djokovic or Tsitsipas. Granted that could be due to Diego not having a great serve.

Ya I bet if he makes the final he will go back in the court .
Anyone else having trouble tracking the ball on TV with the sun and shadows? I have no idea how both players can play that side.

That was a potentially big point that Hawk-Eye said was in, but the chair umpire ruled was out.

Okay, I was wrong, it wasn't a potentially big point as Rafa is in cruise control up 2 sets to love.

Hearing Diego's family story it's no wonder why he always fights for every point and never gives up. Such a likeable person.
This match isn't over, Rafa can't let up the gas.

Diego is really trying but not much to show for it. Multiple break points gone away.

Outside Nadal fans who want a layup, who wants Tsitsipas to win this? A 2/2/1 loss for Tsitsipas Sunday interests no one, this has been a dreadful tournament so at least a decent final would be nice.
