I understand no one wants to hear this but this is a young team that is rebuilding. Look at where the Jays drafted last year(!).
Fans can vent how they want obviously but to me these early 20 somethings are getting great lessons - I agree that mistakes need to be addressed immediately but in an encouraging way.
I see a hot Yankees team facing an inexperienced Jays team. Season isn’t over, playoffs are not done with this series. There are more games in the schedule.
Jays number one pitcher was signed this year. Number two traded for this year (as a rental). I’m patient and impressed with the improvement from drafting 5th overall last year.

Yes absolutely. I agree with all that. And I would add that this has been a really fun season. Any and all experience that they acquire this year is a bonus.
Having said that, there is still plenty of reason to be frustrated by being completely embarrassed by a rival team. And it would be nice to see some leadership, some push back, and some giveadamn.

Biggest difference for Font this year. Not his fastball that is still as hard as heck
Problem is his offspeed pitch quality is steaming garbage this year. No bite on them. Just #### quality.

It would be helpful if the strike zone was the same size for the jays pitchers as it is for Tanaka

No, you are absolutely correct and I'm sure most here realize where this team is at. A long ways to go still, especially with the starting rotation.

I can hardly watch anymore. MLB umpire strike zones are a ####ing joke and they need to fix it via the technology that's available.

100%
But nobody wants to see what the Yankees have done this series. These are record breaking numbers they’re putting up. Rebuilding or not these have been historically bad games.
Can’t wait to see how the baby Jays respond tomorrow.

Biggio again taking strike after strike, putting himself in a hole.

It's all my fault. Tuned in just in time to see the Jays tie it up at 2, got busy with dinner and other stuff and tune back in to see a laugher. I take responsibility for this one.
Even though this series stings badly, it doesn't define their season. They have a bright future and if they battle hard in the playoffs, even while losing, I'll consider this season a big success.

I get that he is patient hitter and that's great, but when you get back to back 80mph hanging sliders you have to be ready to hit the ball.

Chapman comes in, and Bichette was all over him.
10-7 now and Grichuk comes to the plate as the tieing run

Well, at least they scored 4 in the 9th, brought the tying run to the plate, and made the Yankees use Chapman. That's something, right? Right?!

Chapman threw 100% fastballs, every one was 99-101.
Not getting cute, just ####ing gets it done with straight heat.
