Unbelievable holding by the Minny line in the 4th quarter but I guess the refs are "letting them play."

Even with the holding Detroit should have won this game easily.

Minnesota is an awful team.

2 remarkable finishes at the exact same time

there were some lucky freakin teams on the NFL today...

Lions, Pats, Saints all win on final play blunders by the opposing teams deep on the red zone

Yeah Saints and Lions both survive last second goal to goes to save wins. A few games ended up being pretty decent.

Coach pulled him at half time for Joe Webb.

That was heart attack city today. Locker looked like a rookie on that final play, got happy feet and it cost him. Thank jeebus, I was already booking my plane ticket to New Orleans to go smack Gregg Williams.

Congratulations. I have felt bad for you guys over the years. Couldn't break that barrier but you did it under dire circumstances due to injuries. Not only that but if the playoffs started after today's games....Houston would be the #1 seed in the AFC. Impressive.

Infact the matchups as of this very second in the AFC:

1. Houston -Bye
2. Baltimore - Bye

6. NY Jets @ 3. New England
5. Pittsburgh @ 4. Denver

Denver and Oakland are still playing in games right now so that could change. I don't see it though since Oakland is playing the Packers.

Ya it has been a long wait. Got to give that coaching staff huge credit for having players ready to go. Not many teams could handle the injuries we've had this year.

Pretty good coaching in Houston this year. Lots of injuries, but they're still winning. Congrats on their first playoff appearance.

Texans should run the table, but I think Baltimore has one loss left in them... Steelers should have a tough time beating the niners with an injured Roethlisberger, eliminating them from the bye. The Pats should run the table, but you never know with their CFL defense.

I assume NE got a by and was going to say why bother playing the first round of the AFC play-offs with easy walkover victories for whoever plays Houston and the AFC West winner.

Not sure if it is possible but how easy would it be if you got AFC West winner in first round and then Houston in 2nd round? That's like a free pass to the AFC Championship game.

Nice, playing a team on a 7 game win streak is a free pass?

Playing a team with TJ Yates as its QB is a free pass yes.

Especially when it would be a top team like Pittsburgh, NE or NYJ. Not the Indianapolis Colts or Jacksonville Jaguars.

If Schuab was in there I would say the Texans would be underdogs (in my view not gambling) against every team except the AFC West winner.
