@photon I was in the same situation. Got Triumvirate from Kadala as well but it was a pretty big toughness decrease. Mine rolled 9% more arcane damage however so I figured that was significant enough for me to take that hit. Mine does have +10% Electrocute which is my primary so that's a plus. Yeah, made a little more sense in my head when I was thinking it said enraged but my entire chat was filled with pages and pages of this when I teleported to you:

Played my DH some with the pet changes, I have a breastplate that gives me 3 wolves instead of 1, and switched to sentries, and all do critical damage, so it's pretty impressive. My sheet DPS is no where near T1 but I can do T1 pretty good if I didn't die constantly because my resists are so low (haven't really done much to gear up my DH).

So I got what looks like a decent drop for a weapon, but no socket!! I can try and reroll the health to a socket, but then am I going to really gain anything? I can't imagine putting a gem in it will give me a ton more damage, so I'm really trying to roll the socket for a faster weapon (and I don't think I proc anything important in my build) and those low chances of chill and stun. Doesn't seem worth the cost to try and roll a socket (which is crazy from what I read). Or am I off?

Builds and setups can change quite drastically that I wouldn't talk in absolutes but the closest there seems to be in this game is having a socket in your weapon. A potential 130% increase on critical hit damage can't be overlooked.

The weapon I'm using though has a socket as well, I'm afraid I'll spend 20 million and hours worth of farming, get the socket, and the weapon will be 2% better than what I already have.

if you're that worried try unsocketing the old one? not sure how much that'd be but it'd show you for sure

With the pet buff, I would REALLY love to get my hands on a Mask of Jeram and a Tasker and Theo.

I think lv 70 Jerams give 90-100% pet dam.

Photon, that is an excellent Hand Crossbow to try to socket. You would not only be gaining 245 damage but also 103 Dex. That will translate into a very large DPS boost for you.

I see a ton of bows like you are currently using, but haven't found a handbow even close to that other one. Great find!

i have a helltrapper (2.5k) with a socket, but i still can't faceroll t1 is it my skill setup? i use bolas because i have the unique quiver that allows bolas to explode instantly

If you want to maximize your DPS, yes, reroll the Life Per Hit and try for a socket.

Rolled a Quetzalcoatl from Kadala. Tempted to switch from my pet build to something that works with this helm. That same damage in half time passive is pretty sick.

Best part of DH is dual socket for + crit damage. Go for it Photon, that bow is insane.

Right now my DH is rocking dual socketed 2200dps bows and he is quite a wrecker in T1.
