Of course it's not rigged, like your Oilers media/coaches/players/fans were crying about and claiming was the case earlier this series. But it looks as though it did sway officiating in their favor, unfortunately

I for one don't believe Bettman hates Canada, he was the reason Calgary got to keep the Flames, back in the days where he introduce equalize payment or whatever it was called.

There is no reason for North American sports leagues to rig games. The risk is too high for a product that is constantly growing

Then please explain the penalties differential. You can't honestly believe all the penalties called against Oilers' opponents are legit! You can't honestly believe all the penalties committed by the Oilers and not called are legit. Call it whatever you want, we choose to call it as it is, RIGGED!

Because nowhere in the rule book does it say “penalties must be equal at the end of the game”. Also the kings have had far more PP opportunities this series so not sure how that logic works either. Anyway. Go flames.

Rigged is a pretty ridiculous accusation, the level of compliance from so many people without any of it getting out would be impossible to manage. They would need all, or at least a majority, of refs to be involved, multiple high level league executives and likely many owners. It doesn't even take into account the owners who have potentially spent hundreds of millions now having to be ok the fact that their team would now be a victim of these rigged games.

But at the end of the day who cares Oilers suck.
