What a joke. Is it just me or do we get burned by bad calls more often then other teams? I catch a decent amount of assorted games during the day when their on. And I swear we wind up with some of the worst calls by umps on pitches.

Sure feels that way sometimes. I think it has more to do with the fact that the Jays catchers are inexperienced and aren't necessarily known as good pitch framers. Gotta butter up those umps sometimes. They're a gentile breed.

We just remember the ones against the Jays, but there have been just as many outside misses against Miami tonight.
